Thank you for visiting my website.
Engaging in psychotherapy/counselling can be a very rewarding journey and one that can have long lasting benefits.
Whether you are experiencing challenges in your personal life, or there is conflict within the family home, work is causing you undue stress, or you simply feel unhappy/overly irritated/emotionally drained/not yourself… talking things through with a trained psychotherapist/counsellor can help guide you to a more grounded and at ease state of mind, providing you with skills to use in your everyday life.
I’m often reminded of a saying that lends itself to the process of psychotherapy/counselling:
How do you eat an elephant…one piece at a time.
Francis of Assisi elaborated by saying:
“Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible”.
Whether you are male, female, a youngster, adult, older adult, married, partnered, divorced, widow/er, single, employed, unemployed, different ethnic background, LGBTQIA, deal with disabilities etc… we all struggle at some point in our lives with varying degrees.
I deeply empathise with those who experience challenging times and respect the process each individual has in their own growth and at their own pace. With humility and hope, I offer a hand to grab onto and skills you can use in your everyday life to improve your wellbeing.
The approach I adopt is eclectic & I tailor how I work according to the individuals needs and their presenting problem/s, viewing the work together as a collaborative process.
